How this is done!
The analysis is produced by a team in the Ministry of Finance in Mogadishu.
The main source of information is the government wide accounting system. The hard work of entering all accounting information is dilligently performed by accountants at the Office of the Accountant General.
From there, analysts at the Ministry have developed a set of intelligent robots.
These robots analyse the data, find interesting developments, prepares charts, comments, reports for leadership and the public, and updates the website and twitter.
It is fast and amazing! There are not many governments that have taken to use intelligent automation like this! We are exploring and will adjust as we learn.
It is our policy to update the public information at least once per month. In the future, it will be more often. Let us know what you think!
